You can get an idea of our final design layout with the paper shapes cleverly placed on the floor to represent the furniture...
And a lovely carpet sample... the man is coming tomorrow to measure up and hopefully it will be down on the floor by next week!

any thoughts about updating the 1960's doors. i know they are only almost 40 years old but time for a change here too?
we have done the clever thing and used down sized furniture for the room... means it looks great... but you cant fit anything inside it... its just for show. No, but honestly... im sure it will be fine. All under control with two design minds on the job we have whittled it down to the bare minimum.
As for the doors I said exactly the same thing. Mum has the name of a painter who did the downstairs doors. He paints them up in a high gloss white finish... looks very good... so probably do that next.
